Their products are made through the traditional knitwear methods of "fully fashioning" which requires expert crafts people who have been trained and specialize in bespoke hand-finished knitwear. They partner with their makers to invest in local community employment to help protect and nurture this heritage craft.

&Daughter only work with natural fibers. Wool is made from renewable atmospheric carbon. When disposed of, wool acts like a fertilizer by slowly releasing valuable nutrients and carbon back into the soil. Wool is renewable, recyclable and biodegradable. Wool, by nature is a circular fiber. They work with 5 yarns, and 5 makers with 90% of the wool they work with as Responsible Wool Standard-certified.
