PACKAGING

Our boxes are made in the USA with 95% post-consumer waste, which uses less water and energy than new virgin materials - and without the risk of deforestation. It’s also printed with ink that uses algae cells for pigments, making it bio-based and safer to work with than carbon black ink, which is made from burning petroleum.

We think that’s pretty cool.

RETURNS

Eligible returns are free for the first 14 days from when the order is delivered. Afterwards, shipping costs will be deducted, until 30 days from when the order is delivered.  

You need to follow the golden rule to be eligible - treat others as you want to be treated. Items must be in the same
condition you received it: tags on, unused, unaltered, odor-free, and in the original packaging with the receipt. We’ll help the best we can and be a real human being about it, but gotta reserve the right to refuse a return if things
are too messed up. Items purchased as a promo or bundle must be returned as a bundle for a full refund – full price items in partial returns will be treated as full price.

To start a return, visit our Returns Portal. Please don’t use the Returns Portal to cancel an order – instead, send
us a note at orders@socialstudiesshop.com.

Assuming its good, we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label with instructions for getting it back to us. We can’t
accept returns that go rogue and show up without notice.

REFUNDS

Refunds will be returned to the original form of payment, please allow up to 21 days to be reflected in your bank history as timing depends on the bank or credit card issuer.

EXCLUDED ITEMS

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for gift cards or final sale items. Purchases made by gift card or store credit are eligible for exchange or store credit only.
