We joined 300 other brands as Not-A-Normal Market moved to Canyon Essex in September to celebrate creativity, community, and circular design - rejecting mass production in favor of originality and craft.

In June, we showed up at Not A Normal Summer Market in the former Barney's New York location in Downtown Manhattan. We joined 150+ independent designers, artists, creators, and curators offering furniture, art, home decor, apparel, jewelry and accessories.

Social Studies joined a curated gathering of unique purveyors where visitors connected with a creative community. Coffees were had at MSMN and walk-in offerings included flash tattoos by Ki of MOPXISTUDIO and a soothing ear acupressure session from MinaLeeNYC.

Both a longstanding tradition and one of Brooklyn’s hottest events, First Saturdays has been putting the art in party for more than 25 years.
