This piece is made entirely from natural fibers rather than synthetic ones. Washing clothes made of synthetics, like polyester and nylon, cause a ridiculous amount of tiny plastic fragments (microplastics) to be released, eventually showing back up in our food chain. Some scientist estimate we eat a credit card worth of plastic each week. Ewww.
