Gauntlett Cheng

Gauntlett Cheng is a New York based label formed in 2014 by Esther Gauntlett and Jenny Cheng. The clothing explore the emotional state of both designers, appearing familiar but uneasy. Collections focus on collaborations with artists and explore sexuality, a sense of home, desire, frustration, and nostalgia.

Having hosted runway shows in Manhattan’s East River heliport, St. Mark’s Church In-The-Bowery, and along Canal Street the brand has reached a community including Olivia Rodrigo, Barbie Ferreira, SZA, and others with multi-disciplinary partnerships such as MTV, Red Bull, and Bumble & Bumble.
