Description

A classic button up style shirt featuring a drawcord tie channel at bottom hem, dropped back yoke and dropped shoulder for a relaxed fit. Made from 100% OEKO-TEX 100 certified and EU certified stone washed french linen.

Linen is a super hero - it requires no irrigation, no chemicals, and can be grown in poor soil. Linen is grown in rotation, which nourishes the soil for other crops and always non-GMO. Linen production is almost zero waste and leftovers like flax dust can be used for insulation while the seeds can produce oil, and other by-products can be processed into a pulp.

In 2016, Deiji Studios was founded by Juliette Harkness and Emma Nelson in Byron Bay, Australia. The brand consciously manufactures in two small family run factories in China in which all workers are ensured a fair wage, good working conditions and hours, which the brand visits annually. Their linen is softened with natural pumice stones, all waste water is recycled and disposed of in ways that minimize environmental impact, they do not use any harmful dyes in any fabrics, and all scrap fabric is recycled or donated to local craftspeople who use them to weave blankets and rugs.
