Fresia Scarf - Blue Check
Click to learn more ↘
Holzweiler first started making scarves in Florence a decade ago when they fell in love with a small factory and the traditional techniques used. This remains where their scarves are produced to this day. The Fresia scarf is made from a tactile bouclé alpaca-blend. It's finished with a checked print and fringed edges.
Made with alpaca, which behaves similarly to wool in that it is 100% natural and has similar moisture-absorbing and odor-fighting properties. Some argue alpaca has a lower impact than wool because the animals require less water than sheep or goats and typically produce more fibers per shear. While sheep and goats often eat entire plants, roots and all, alpacas are known to leave the roots and only nibble on the tops of plants.
