Mea Beanie - Red

A recycled wool ribbed knit beanie. Recycled wool yarns are shorter and easily break during production so they're combined with other fibers like nylon to make the fabrics more durable, while reducing waste in production. The wool used is recycled in a closed loop system, meaning fibers are turned into yarn to create new products of similar quality to the original use. 

Recycled wool was only 6% of all wool on the market, so this garment is pretty special. Using recycled materials means new "virgin" materials aren't being used, and that's pretty awesome since fiber production has more than doubled from 2000 to 2023.
