Manmade cellulosic fibers

These MFs - make that MMCFs - are wild. They're primarily made from plant cell walls (cellulose) and are therefore a renewable, more future-friendly material so long as plants are sourced and chemicals handled properly. At only ~6% of global fiber production, garments made with these fibers are pretty special. You'll mostly see it called viscose, lyocell, or acetate, but its really wood pulp (sometimes bamboo), with ~65% coming from sources covered by FSC/PEFC (Forest Stewardship Council and The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification).
