Woven by hand with locally sourced natural materials (excluding leather trim and base). It takes nearly one week to harvest, dry, and prepare materials for weaving in order to reach the desired pliability, durability, and color tone.

Made with rattan. Rattan is a biodegradable plant vine we love for growing quick and often harvested by hand rather than machines. A labor-intensive process, the plant is typically cleaned, boiled and air-dried before steaming for flexibility when weaving by skilled artisans, so we respect the hell out of the craftsmanship that goes into making this piece. Fun fact: rattan is the material, wicker is a weaving technique.
