Chowa Top - Chalk

Short-sleeved fine-knit top crafted from an ultrafine Makò cotton blend with a dry handfeel. Features a textured ribbed stitch that creates an all-over pleated effect, a slightly cropped length, mock neck, rolled trims, and slim short sleeves.

Made with makò cotton, and extra long staple egyptian cotton. These fibers are exceptionally strong and result in a luxurious soft feel and creates lightweight, breathable fabrics perfect for warm weather. Cotton is super complicated. We prefer organic, recycled or deadstock to conventional cotton but think natural materials are still better than synthetic ones like polyester or nylon. In worst cases, conventional cotton can contribute to water contamination, soil degradation, or pollution depending how farms are managed. Insert poor labor practices and it gets grimy quick. Our brand partners focus on quality materials made with best practices, so no grime here.
