Permanent Vacation is an ongoing Project series exploring design as an expression of sentiment. Their philosophy circles around the simple principle of creating high quality clothes that are easy to wear, effortless, considered, and timeless. Clothes that are informed by art and culture and are designed to fit seamlessly into modern day wardrobes. Operating in Projects rather than seasons provides PV designs global relevance — instead of being restricted by the traditional seasonal calendar their design formula is open, collaborative, and creative. Each Project is carefully curated to encompass diverse tastes in style, and our color palettes are thoughtfully edited for each new Project. With a focus on creating well-made pieces and producing only to meet demand, Permanent Vacation is designed and made in Melbourne, Australia. All of the makers that produce their garments are located within a 15km radius of our Abbotsford studio.
